Morrisville Community CrossFit has Strength and Conditioning programs available for your teams or individual athletes.  Owner and Head Coach, Jonathan Armada, would be programming and overseeing your your athlete’s training sessions.  Your team and athletes will be in good hands.  With a Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology and Master’s in Biomechanics, Jonathan understands principles of exercise and every nuance of human movement.  He’s also certified with American College of Sports Medicine’s (ACSM) as a Health Fitness Specialist (HFS), since 2003 and CrossFit’s Level 1 Certificate Holder.

Front Squat Coach Jonathan utilizes basic strength principles and exercises to improve athletic conditioning and prevent injuries.

 

Part of Jonathan’s education revolved around understanding and studying muscle activation and how muscular imbalance can contribute to injury.  Along with the physiological and biomechanical aspects of injury and injury prevention, he has studied the psychological pre-determinants of injury and the psychological stages of recovery from injury.  Knowledge of these elements leads to well-rounded programming that can help the physical conditioning of your athletes and aid in prevention of injury.  A well balanced strength and conditioning program naturally leads athletes to become stronger and better conditioned, meaning increases in performance.  Get your athletes the advantage they need to reach their athletic potential!
