1. Arrive early

Stay late. Cheer, clap and encourage others. Anything less is to cheat yourself of the experience, and to rob others of the gift of your presence as part of the MCCF community. Besides, if you’re late, it’s 5 burpees per minute.

2. Sign in

Please sign into Wodify. This will help us to help you. AND it’s important to track your workouts and your progress.

3. Introduce yourself

Many may know you, but the odds are someone doesn’t.

4. Ask for help

Accidents and injuries happen and usually come as a result of impatience. Slow down. Ask questions. And check your ego at the door.

5. Pay Attention to yourself and your surroundings

Be aware of how much space you have and need, as well as those around you. We don’t want our toys, rubber or wood flooring, you, or your fellow athletes broken unnecessarily.

6. Chalk is messy. And it is also useful and necessary.

Use as much as you need, but keep the excess inside the chalk bucket because the extra dust keeps breaking our vacuum cleaner and it’s difficult to clean up.

7. Clean up and put away all equipment after each workout.

Clean up sweat, spit, blood, tears, dirt, vomit, sand, hand prints, and whatever else you’ve left behind.  And help your fellow athletes to do the same.

8. Be respectful.

Grunting, screaming, and otherwise making noise are all welcome during a workout, but remember there is such a thing as gentle, quiet strength…..although most of us haven’t mastered that yet. Also remember that there can be such a thing as too loud, crass, gross, or rude.

9. Strive to do your best and feed off of the encouragement of others for that extra push.

If you finish before someone else, cheer and encourage them on. If you finish after someone, tell them thanks for the encouragement. We’ve all been at that point where we want to quit, but this MCCF community won’t let you!
